We picked up a highly intoxicated guy tonight (it was a flag) he calls me at about 2:45am and tells me that he left his wallet in the cab and it had lots of cash and all of his credit cards in it...I told him that i was sorry for his loss. He asked me to get the driver on the radio so he could get it back. Well I knew the outcome of this conversation. At any rate, I got the driver on the horn and asked him if he had found any wallets, of course he had not. He did say however that the guy paid with a credit card and had his wallet when he got out of the cab. When customer called me back for the 30th time, I told him what the driver had told me. He just went off and said "so you guys give free rides?" no..."then how did I pay huh?" again, the driver says you paid with a card. "no I did not" OK well I will send yo a copy of the receipt..at any rate, when the driver finally was able to go over there, he pulled up into the driveway, and low and behold guess what was laying in the grass...yeah it was a wallet...
Alcohol creates such stupidity doesn't it? WOW

Which explains way night drivers deal mostly with blithering idiots.
I love this story.
I agree with you, take a couple college classes during the day, and I work full time on the third shift at a hotel. I see the same type of people. Alcohol makes stupid people, but it seems to me that the sober ones have to clean up their messes. LOL. Kudos to you.
